To enhance its leadership framework and scale its community impact, the Children’s Voice Association recently participated in an intensive, one-day capacity-building workshop on organizational management.
The session focused on reinforcing internal governance structures and refining operational workflows to ensure the association delivers its mission with maximum efficiency and transparency.

The workshop provided comprehensive guidance across core operational pillars, helping participants align administrative oversight with on-the-ground project delivery:
- Governance Architecture: Clear breakdown of hierarchical roles and accountabilities, mapping the flow of responsibility from the General Assembly down to the Board of Directors (BOD) and the executive Management Body.
- Project Management Frameworks: In-depth instruction on project lifecycle execution, detailing specific responsibilities for project leads, field officers, and administrative staff.
- Operational Capacity & Leadership: Practical strategies to improve internal communication, resource allocation, and accountability across all active initiatives.

The workshop was facilitated by Melvin Songwe Shuye, Chief Executive Officer of the United Youths Organization. Drawing from extensive field experience, Shuye delivered actionable insights into modern organizational governance and effective non-profit management.
